CM orders to launch intra-district buses by April

While talking to the media on Thursday, Sindh transport minister, Awais Qadir Shah told that the provincial cabinet has signed an agreement with the National Radio & Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC) this October to launch 250 diesel-electric hybrid buses for intra-district bus service.

According to the news sources, CM orders launching intra-district bus service by April the transport department will launch the Sindh Intra-District Peoples Bus Service in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, Mirpurkhas, and Shaheed Benazirabad through the Sindh Mass Transit Authority.

The construction of the depots, the operation and maintenance of the buses, and the revenue collection will be carried out by private operatives. He added.

This meeting was chaired by Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, at the CM House, who directed him to bring the buses on the roads by April. The cabinet agreed on the agreement signed between the transport department and the NRTC.

جمعرات کو میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے سندھ کے وزیر ٹرانسپورٹ اویس قادر شاہ نے بتایا کہ صوبائی کابینہ نے نیشنل ریڈیو اینڈ ٹیلی کمیونیکیشن کارپوریشن (این آر ٹی سی) کے ساتھ رواں اکتوبر میں انٹرا ڈسٹرکٹ بس سروس کے لیے 250 ڈیزل الیکٹرک ہائبرڈ بسیں شروع کرنے کے معاہدے پر دستخط کیے ہیں۔ .
نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق وزیراعلیٰ کا اپریل تک انٹرا ڈسٹرکٹ بس سروس شروع کرنے کا حکم محکمہ ٹرانسپورٹ سندھ ماس ٹرانزٹ اتھارٹی کے ذریعے کراچی، حیدرآباد، سکھر، لاڑکانہ، میرپورخاص اور شہید بینظیر آباد میں سندھ انٹرا ڈسٹرکٹ پیپلز بس سروس شروع کرے گا۔
ڈپو کی تعمیر، بسوں کا آپریشن اور دیکھ بھال، اور ریونیو کی وصولی پرائیویٹ آپریٹو کریں گے۔ .
یہ اجلاس وزیر��علیٰ ہاؤس میں وزیراعلیٰ سید مراد علی شاہ کی زیرصدارت ہوا جس میں انہیں اپریل تک بسیں سڑکوں پر لانے کی ہدایت کی گئی۔ کابینہ نے محکمہ ٹرانسپورٹ اور این آر ٹی سی کے درمیان طے پانے والے معاہدے پر اتفاق کیا۔
