CM KPK hints to set up industrial estates in merged districts

While chairing a meeting about uplifting schemes and public issues of the merged districts, CM ordered all departments to complete the postings and transfers of all government employees that have been working on the same post for over two years in the merged districts within 15 days and submit a report to the CM.

This meeting was attended by all the departments of the ministry, Administrative Secretaries, Members of the Provincial Assembly, and entire staff.

CM directed the related officials to introduce the biometric system in major hospitals of the merged districts, expedite work on the ongoing projects for setting up government schools and propose new schemes in consultation with the elected representatives for the establishment of schools on a need basis. He directed the Energy and Power Department to identify feasible projects for setting up mini-hydro power stations in these districts.

CM Mahmood Khan stated that budget for various development projects in the merged districts.

The chief minister added that both the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and federal governments were giving their share of the National Financial Commission Award for the tribal districts as per commitments

Mahmood Khan said erstwhile Fata was now an integral part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and it was the government’s priority to bring these areas on a par with other districts.

پشاور: وزیراعلیٰ محمود خان نے اکنامک زون ڈویلپمنٹ اینڈ مینجمنٹ کمپنی (کے پی ای زیڈ ڈی ایم سی) کو ہدایت کی ہے کہ انضمام شدہ اضلاع میں صنعتی اسٹیٹ کے قابل عمل منصوبوں کی نشاندہی کی جائے۔

انضمام شدہ اضلاع کی ترقیاتی سکیموں اور عوامی مسائل کے بارے میں اجلاس کی صدارت کرتے ہوئے وزیراعلیٰ نے تمام محکموں کو ان تمام سرکاری ملازمین کی پوسٹنگ اور تبادلہ مکمل کرنے کا حکم دیا جو انضمام شدہ اضلاع میں دو سال سے ایک ہی عہدے پر کام کر رہے ہیں اور 15 دن میں جمع کرائیں۔ وزیراعلیٰ کو ایک رپورٹ۔

اس اجلاس میں وزارت کے تمام محکموں ، انتظامی سکریٹریوں ، ممبران صوبائی اسمبلی اور پورا عملہ شریک ہوا۔

وزیراعلیٰ نے متعلقہ عہدیداروں کو ہدایت کی کہ انضمام شدہ اضلاع کے بڑے اسپتالوں میں بائیو میٹرک سسٹم متعارف کروائیں ، سرکاری اسکولوں کے قیام کے لئے جاری منصوبوں پر تیزی سے کام کریں اور ضرورت کے مطابق اسکولوں کے قیام کے لئے منتخب نمائندوں کی مشاورت سے نئی اسکیمیں تجویز کریں۔ انہوں نے محکمہ توانائی اور بجلی کو ہدایت کی کہ وہ ان اضلاع میں منی پن بجلی گھروں کے قیام کے لئے قابل عمل منصوبوں کی نشاندہی کریں۔

وزیراعلیٰ محمود خان نے بتایا کہ ضم شدہ اضلاع میں مختلف ترقیاتی منصوبوں کے لئے بجٹ۔

وزیراعلیٰ نے مزید کہا کہ خیبر پختونخوا اور وفاقی حکومتیں دونوں وعدوں کے مطابق قبائلی اضلاع کے لئے قومی مالیاتی کمیشن ایوارڈ میں اپنا حصہ دے رہی ہیں

محمود خان نے کہا کہ پہلے فاٹا اب خیبر پختونخوا کا ایک لازمی حصہ تھا اور حکومت کی ترجیح ہے کہ وہ ان علاقوں کو دوسرے اضلاع کے مترادف بنائے۔
