Gwadar: According to news sources, the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing has announced that China is going to invest in different sectors in Gwadar to create employment opportunities for Baluchistan’s youth.
While addressing a media convoy, the Chinese Ambassador said that China is going to establish 19 factories in Gwadar and invest in different sectors including mining, agriculture, fisheries, and water. This is a part of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project and it will further strengthen Pak-China ties.
Earlier this year, the Gwadar port was made functional and it received its first shipment as well. The development work in Gwadar continues and it will prove to be the game-changer for the country’s economy.
