Karachi: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has decided to allow new airlines under an aviation policy to start international operations after completing a mandatory six-month probationary period operating domestic flights.
The aviation body has also prepared recommendations and sent them to the higher authorities for approval. However, permission would be granted to the new airlines on the condition of its performance, regulations, and punctuality.
The performance review will include timely departures and arrivals. Furthermore, it is also been made compulsory for the new airlines to run domestic flights on social-economic routes including Bahawalpur and Sukkur.
The development came after the regulatory body completed the preparations for implementing the Aviation Policy 2021. The implementation is being made on Prime Minister Imran Khan’s directives.

ہوا بازی کے ادارے نے بھی سفارشات تیار کیں اور منظوری کے لئے اعلی حکام کو ارسال کردی ہیں۔ تاہم ، یہ اجازت نئی ایئر لائنز کو اس کی کارکردگی ، قواعد و ضوابط اور وقت کی پابندی کی شرط پر دی جائے گی۔
کارکردگی کا جائزہ لینے میں بروقت روانگی اور آمد شامل ہوں گی۔ مزید برآں ، نئی ایئر لائنز کو بہاولپور اور سکھر سمیت سماجی و اقتصادی راستوں پر گھریلو پروازیں چلانا بھی لازمی قرار دیا گیا ہے۔
یہ ترقی اس وقت ہوئی جب ریگولیٹری ادارہ نے ایوی ایشن پالیسی 2021 پر عمل درآمد کے لئے تیاریاں مکمل کیں۔ اس پر عمل درآمد وزیر اعظم عمران خان کی ہدایت پر کیا جا رہا ہے۔
