Buzdar approves Punjab’s Air Rescue Service Project

According to the news sources, Cabinet Standing Committee on Finance and Development had given the approval to include Air Rescue Service Project in the ADP.

Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that Rs 1.16 billion had been set aside for this initiative. Rescue Air Ambulance Service would help in accessing high-risk and far flung areas of the province, he added.

He further added that this initiative would deliver quick rescue services to the injured persons besides saving the precious lives of the humans.

Chief Minister Usman Buzdar also said that the project would bring revolution in Rescue services and it was purely a public welfare-oriented project.

He further said that Punjab would be honored to start the first air ambulance service in South Asia.

لاہور: وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب کی ہدایت پر ایئر ریسکیو سروس پراجیکٹ کو سالانہ ترقیاتی پروگرام (اے ڈی پی) 2021-22 میں شامل کر دیا گیا ہے۔
نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق کابینہ کی قائمہ کمیٹی برائے خزانہ و ترقی نے ایئر ریسکیو سروس پروجیکٹ کو اے ڈی پی میں شامل کرنے کی منظوری دے دی۔
وزیراعلیٰ عثمان بزدار نے کہا کہ اس اقدام کے لیے 1.16 ارب روپے مختص کیے گئے ہیں۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ ریسکیو ایئر ایمبولینس سروس صوبے کے زیادہ خطرے اور دور دراز علاقوں تک رسائی میں مدد کرے گی۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ یہ اقدام انسانوں کی قیمتی جانوں کو بچانے کے علاوہ زخمیوں کو فوری ریسکیو خدمات فراہم کرے گا۔
وزیراعلیٰ عثمان بزدار نے یہ بھی کہا کہ یہ منصوبہ ریسکیو سروسز میں انقلاب لائے گا اور یہ خالصتاً عوامی بہبود پر مبنی منصوبہ ہے۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ پنجاب کو جنوبی ایشیا میں پہلی ایئر ایمبولینس سروس شروع کرنے کا اعزاز حاصل ہوگا۔
