Budget of RS6.9bn approved for KDA

The budget was approved under Section 27 of the KDA Order 1957. It also approved its implementation from July 1, 2021, with retrospective effect.

The approval of the budget has been accorded in a meeting held at the Civic Centre’s seminar hall. The meeting was presided over by Sindh Local Government Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, who is also the chairman of the KDA’s governing body.

Local Government Secretary Syed Najam Shah, MPA Shamim Mumtaz, KDA Director General Nasir Abbas Soomro, and other members were also present.

The budget of the KDA for the new financial year 2021-22 amounting to Rs6.918bn was approved, while the revised budget for the year 2020-21 amounting to Rs6.605bn was also approved in the meeting.

The LG minister said that a public housing scheme should be planned under public-private partnership on four plots of 20,900 yards of the land of KDA in Surjani Town.

He said that work on the KDA scheme should be expedited and assured of the Sindh government’s full cooperation.

کراچی: کراچی ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی کے عہدیداروں نے مالی سال 2021-22 کے لئے اتھارٹی کے 6.99 بلین روپے کے بجٹ کی منظوری دے دی۔

بجٹ کو کے ڈی اے آرڈر 1957 کے سیکشن 27 کے تحت منظور کیا گیا تھا۔ اس نے بھی 1 جولائی 2021 ء سے سابقہ اثر سے اس پر عمل درآمد کی منظوری دی تھی۔
شہری مرکز کے سیمینار ہال میں منعقدہ ایک میٹنگ میں بجٹ کی منظوری دی گئی ہے۔ اس اجلاس کی صدارت وزیر بلدیات سندھ سید ناصر حسین شاہ نے کی ، جو کے ڈی اے کی گورننگ باڈی کے چیئرمین بھی ہیں۔
سکریٹری بلدیات سید نجم شاہ ، ایم پی اے شمیم ممتاز ، کے ڈی اے کے ڈائریکٹر جنرل ناصر عباس سومرو اور دیگر ممبران بھی موجود تھے۔
نئے مالی سال 2021-22 کے لئے کے ڈی اے کے بجٹ کی منظوری دی گئی جس کی مالیت 6.99 بلین روپے ہے ، جبکہ اجلاس میں 2020-21 کے 6606 ارب روپے کے نظرثانی بجٹ کی بھی منظوری دی گئی۔
ایل جی وزیر نے کہا کہ سرجانی ٹاؤن میں کے ڈی اے کی 20،900 گز زمین کے چار پلاٹوں پر پبلک پرائیویٹ پارٹنرشپ کے تحت پبلک ہاؤسنگ اسکیم کی منصوبہ بندی کی جائے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ کے ڈی اے اسکیم پر کام کو تیز کیا جائے اور سندھ حکومت کے مکمل تعاون کا یقین دلایا جائے۔
