Bait-ul-Maal dept ready to launch three new projects

Two of them are Rehri Rozgar Project in collaboration with Akhuwat Foundation and Marriage of Poor Girls in every district of the province in collaboration with philanthropists; this was announced by Provincial Minister for Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal (SW&BM) Syed Yawar Abbas Bukhari at an event.

Addressing the function as chief guest, he said Rs548 million funds were available from July 2019-June 2021 out of which the department has disbursed Rs263.82 million so far and facilitated 29,785 people. He said marriage committees would be set up in every district.

“Collective wedding ceremonies will begin next month. A hundred couples will be married in every district,” he said. Syed Yawar Abbas Bukhari said his department would set up a center for the rehabilitation of oppressed women in society on international standards.

The Social Welfare Department would be fully digitalized to further improve the welfare work.

Amin Bait-ul-Mal Punjab Malik M Azam presided over the function while Chairman Akhuwat Foundation Dr. Amjad Saqib who recently received the prestigious Magsaysay Award also graced the event. The minister SW&BM said that the process of registration of NGOs would be done online so that unnecessary NOCs could be eliminated.

He categorically said that the monitoring system of NGOs will also be tightened.

ان میں سے دو اخروٹ فاؤنڈیشن کے تعاون سے رہڑی روزگار پروجیکٹ اور مخیر حضرات کے تعاون سے صوبے کے ہر ض��ع میں غریب لڑکیوں کی شادی۔ اس بات کا اعلان صوبائی وزیر سماجی بہبود و بیت المال (SW&BM) سید یاور عباس بخاری نے ایک تقریب میں کیا۔

تقریب سے بطور مہمان خطاب کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے کہا کہ جولائی 2019 سے جون 2021 تک 548 ملین روپے کے فنڈز دستیاب تھے جن میں سے محکمہ نے اب تک 263.82 ملین روپے تقسیم کیے ہیں اور 29،785 افراد کو سہولت فراہم کی ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہر ضلع میں شادی کمیٹیاں قائم کی جائیں گی۔

“اجتماعی شادی کی تقریبات اگلے ماہ شروع ہوں گی۔ ہر ضلع میں سو جوڑوں کی شادی کی جائے گی۔ سید یاور عباس بخاری نے کہا کہ ان کا محکمہ بین الاقوامی معیار پر معاشرے میں مظلوم خواتین کی بحالی کے لیے مرکز قائم کرے گا۔

فلاحی کاموں کو مزید بہتر بنانے کے لیے محکمہ سماجی بہبود کو مکمل طور پر ڈیجیٹلائز کیا جائے گا۔

امین بیت المال پنجاب ملک ایم اعظم نے تقریب کی صدارت کی جبکہ چیئرمین اخوت فاؤنڈیشن ڈاکٹر امجد ثاقب جنہوں نے حال ہی میں معزز مگساسے ایوارڈ حاصل کیا ، نے بھی تقریب میں شرکت کی۔ وزیر ایس ڈبلیو اینڈ بی ایم نے کہا کہ این جی اوز کی رجسٹریشن کا عمل آن لائن کیا جائے گا تاکہ غیر ضروری این او سی کو ختم کیا جا سکے۔

انہوں نے واضح طور پر کہا کہ این جی اوز کی مانیٹرنگ کا نظام بھی سخت کیا جائے گا۔
