81 Karachi Cooperative Housing Societies Safe for Investment – Claims SBCA

Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA), according to news sources, is verifying remaining housing societies and their status would be mentioned later. The SBCA also laid out three SOPs for anyone looking to buy a plot in a cooperative housing society. In this whole process, three departments are involved.

First, the nominee should visit the office of the cooperative housing society to seek the forwarding letter. This letter is an authorized document issued by the office of the society that certifies if the plot belongs to the person. The next step is to visit the Master Plan Group of Offices located on the ninth floor of Civic Center to verify the layout plan of that cooperative housing society.

The last step is to get approval from SBCA for construction. The single-window operation of the SBCA ensures easy verification in a single visit.
