Kandikotal: Khyber police demolished 57 structures constructed on the common land of Kokikhel tribe in Jamrud tehsil, police said.
District Police Officer Wasim Riaz said that during the operation, they also recovered a number of weapons including Kalashnikovs and pistols from the arrested persons and demolished their bunkers constructed on the railway's property.
He said the police would take across-the-board action against outlaws in the area. He said land mafia groups were often seen exchanging gunshots at night, which had further put citizens’ lives in danger.

ڈسٹرکٹ پولیس آفیسر وسیم ریاض نے بتایا کہ آپریشن کے دوران انہوں نے گرفتار افراد سے کلاشنکوف اور پستول سمیت متعدد ہتھیار بھی برآمد کیے اور ریلوے پراپرٹی پر تعمیر کیے گئے ان کے بنکروں کو مسمار کردیا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ پولیس علاقہ میں غیر قانونی افراد کے خلاف بھرپور کارروائی کرے گی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ لینڈ مافیا گروہوں کو اکثر رات کو گولیوں کا تبادلہ کرتے دیکھا گیا ہے جس سے شہریوں کی زندگی مزید خطرے میں پڑ گئی ہے۔
