The KITE program's infrastructure projects are now underway in KP

Two of the major infrastructure projects are the 23-kilometer Thandiani Road and the 22-kilometer Mankyal Road, both of which are expected to cost Rs3.182 billion and Rs4.631 billion respectively. The National Highway will be connected to the stunning and unknown Mankyal Valley by Mankyal Road, and access for tourists will be made possible by Thandiani Road's renovation.

The World Bank states that the improvement of infrastructure that supports tourism, the enhancement of tourism assets, and the strengthening of destination management are the project's development goals for Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

The KP tourism industry has grown significantly in recent years, according to a formal handout from the department. This is mostly because of better accessibility and higher security. An estimated 1.2 million domestic visitors and a few thousand foreign visitors bring in more than $120 million in direct revenue each year.

ورلڈ بینک کا کہنا ہے کہ سیاحت کو سپورٹ کرنے والے انفراسٹرکچر کی بہتری، سیاحت کے اثاثوں میں اضافہ اور منزل کے انتظام کو مضبوط بنانا پاکستان کے صوبہ خیبر پختونخوا کے لیے اس منصوبے کے ترقیاتی اہداف ہیں۔
محکمہ کی طرف سے ایک رسمی ہینڈ آؤٹ کے مطابق، حالیہ برسوں میں کے پی سیاحت کی صنعت نے نمایاں طور پر ترقی کی ہے۔ یہ زیادہ تر بہتر رسائی اور اعلی سیکیورٹی کی وجہ سے ہے۔ ایک اندازے کے مطابق 1.2 ملین گھریلو زائرین اور چند ہزار غیر ملکی زائرین ہر سال $120 ملین سے زیادہ براہ راست آمدنی لاتے ہیں۔
