Lahore: The Government of Punjab has notified new operating hours for businesses despite the growing number of cases of coronavirus in the province.
In this regard, the Secretary Primary and Secondary Health Care Punjab Captain (retired) Muhammad Usman has issued a notification in line with the recommendations of the provincial cabinet.
As per the notification, bakeries and dairy shops would remain open for 24 hours all week long. The poultry and meat shops would remain open from 9 am to 7 pm throughout the week. However, the bakeries, meat shops, and other businesses are bound to comply with the SOPs issued by the government. Failure to comply would result in strict action and closure of the business temporarily.
Shopping malls and markets in the province would now follow the timings as indicated in the new notification issued.
