PM Imran Khan devises strategy to curb poverty

Chairing a meeting on the Kamyab Pakistan Program here, he said that besides financial assistance of the downtrodden segment, the present government’s chief priority was to make the people economically self-sufficient.

He said it is the primary priority of the government to help the oppressed segment of society and make youth self-reliant in employment.

He also quoted the examples of China and India and said that dissimilar India which failed, China successfully steered millions of people out of poverty during the last 30 years.

The meeting was briefed about the inclusion of Kamyab Kissan, Kamyab Karobar, Kamyab Hunarmand, low-cost housing schemes, and lending program for Kamyab Pakistan Housing in one program titled Kamyab Pakistan Program.

It was told that Kamyab Pakistan Programme will play a vital role in enhancing economic activities in the country, and making people self-dependent in terms of employment.

Kamyab Pakistan Program will play a pivotal role in accelerating economic activities and making people self-contained. Under the program, new applicants for housing, business and agriculture will be provided loans at the mass level.

During the briefing, the prime minister remarked that the education scholarship being offered by the provincial, and the federal government should be merged at a single database for students` benefit.

یہاں کامیاب پاکستان پروگرام سے متعلق ایک اجلاس کی صدارت کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے کہا کہ آباد طبقے کی مالی مدد کے علاوہ موجودہ حکومت کی اولین ترجیح عوام کو معاشی طور پر خود کفیل بنانا ہے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ معاشرے کے مظلوم طبقے کی مدد کرنا ، اور نوجوانوں کو روزگار میں خود انحصار کرنا حکومت کی اولین ترجیح ہے۔

انہوں نے چین اور ہندوستان کی مثالوں کا بھی حوالہ دیا ، اور کہا کہ متنازعہ ہندوستان جو ناکام رہا ، چین نے گذشتہ 30 سالوں میں لاکھوں افراد کو غربت سے کامیابی سے نکال دیا۔

اجلاس میں کمیاب پاکستان پروگرام کے عنوان سے ایک پروگرام میں کمیاب کسنان ، کمیاب کاروبار ، کامیاب ہنرمند ، کم لاگت ہاؤسنگ اسکیموں ، اور کمیاب پاکستان ہاؤسنگ کے لئے قرض دینے کے پروگرام کو شامل کرنے کے بارے میں بتایا گیا۔

بتایا گیا کہ کمیاب پاکستان پروگرام ملک میں معاشی سرگرمیوں کو بڑھانے ، اور روزگار کے معاملے میں لوگوں کو خود پر منحصر بنانے میں اہم کردار ادا کرے گا۔

کمیاب پاکستان پروگرام معاشی سرگرمیوں کو تیز کرنے ، اور لوگوں کو خود کفیل بنانے میں اہم کردار ادا کرے گا۔ اس پروگرام کے تحت رہائش ، کاروبار اور زراعت کے لئے نئے درخواست دہندگان کو بڑے پیمانے پر قرضے فراہم کیے جائیں گے۔

بریفنگ کے دوران ، وزیر اعظم نے ریمارکس دیئے کہ صوبائی اور وفاقی حکومت کے ذریعہ پیش کردہ ایجوکیشن سکالرشپ کو طلباء کے مفادات کے لئے ایک ہی ڈیٹا بیس میں ضم کیا جانا چاہئے۔
