20 additional buses to be acquired for the Green and Blue line bus rapid transport system

CDA Chairman took the initiative after visiting the blue and green line service stations. It was observed that currently, eight Blue Line buses were carrying a total of 5,800 passengers per day. Similarly, around 6,000 passengers were utilizing the Green Line every day.

Other various routes and bus stops for the Islamabad bus services were also inspected and the provision of optimum facilities for differently-abled commuters was ensured.

Construction work for both the bus stations is currently underway and is expected to be completed by August 14. Both the green and blue lines are being run in mixed traffic at the moment, however, designated corridors are currently underway.

سی ڈی اے کے چیئرمین نے بلیو اور گرین لائن سروس سٹیشنوں کا دورہ کرنے کے بعد پہل کی۔ یہ دیکھا گیا کہ اس وقت بلیو لائن کی آٹھ بسیں روزانہ کل 5,800 مسافروں کو لے جا رہی ہیں۔ اسی طرح ہر روز تقریباً 6000 مسافر گرین لائن کا استعمال کر رہے تھے۔
اسلام آباد بس سروسز کے دیگر مختلف روٹس اور بس اسٹاپوں کا بھی معائنہ کیا گیا اور معذور مسافروں کے لیے بہترین سہولیات کی فراہمی کو یقینی بنایا گیا۔
دونوں بس اسٹیشنوں کی تعمیر کا کام فی الحال جاری ہے اور 14 اگست تک مکمل ہونے کی امید ہے۔ اس وقت سبز اور نیلی دونوں لائنیں مخلوط ٹریفک میں چلائی جا رہی ہیں، تاہم، نامزد راہداریوں پر کام جاری ہے۔
